Sarah L. (Mowery) Perdoni

Sarah L. Perdoni (née Mowery) of Milltown, NJ passed away peacefully November 23, 2017 at Genesis at Park Place, Monmouth Jct., NJ.  She was 76 years old.  Born in Shamokin, PA, she was a longtime resident of Milltown.  She was employed as a manager by NJ Bell for 16 years until she retired in 1976 to devote herself to her most cherished role as a loving mother and homemaker.  Sarah was a member of the United Methodist Church at Milltown for over 60 years.  She was an active volunteer for the church and public school.  She was a keen gardener and enjoyed painting and crafts.  Predeceased by her beloved husband of 40 years Thomas A. Perdoni in 2016, her parents James and Mildred (née Sminkey) Mowery, Sr., and brother James Mowery, Jr., Sarah is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Stephan and Tara Perdoni of Milltown, James Perdoni of Milltown, grandchildren Shane and Stella Perdoni, sisters: Carol Lachenmayer of Coal Twp., PA, Marlene Terranova of Milltown, sister-in-law Arlene Mowery of Milltown, goddaughter Dawn Roadarmel of Coal Twp.,PA, and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.  The family will welcome friends Monday 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Bronson & Guthlein Funeral Home of Milltown.  Funeral service Tuesday 11am at the United Methodist Church at Milltown followed by interment at Van Liew Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O.
