Tanya Lynne (Moore) Roberts

Tanya Lynne Roberts of Shamong Twp., NJ passed away on December 26, 2021 at RWJ Univ. Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ.  She was 58 years old.  Born in Dorchester County, MD, Tanya grew up in the small town of Bishop’s Head on the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay.  She was a longtime resident of East Brunswick, NJ and was a faithful member, choir member, and Elder of St. Paul’s Church, Milltown, NJ.  Tanya was an active volunteer of the NJ Greyhound Adoption Program and fostered many dogs until they found permanent homes.  After relocating to Shamong, Tanya attended Crossroads Community Church and, continuing her dedication to serving her community, helped manage the church’s food pantry. She worked hard and proudly earned her CPMA and CPC certifications, which she put to good use as a Medical Auditor for Capital Health, Hopewell, NJ.  Tanya was proud of her Chesapeake Bay roots, put the utmost importance in community and family ties, and loved hosting family reunions.

Predeceased by her parents Alfred Smith Moore and Mary Elizabeth Moore, sister Andi Parry, and brother John D. Parry; Tanya is survived by her loving husband of 32 years Jeff Roberts, aunt Hope Gordon, brother-in-law Steve Roberts, mother-in-law Cathy Roberts, brother and sister-in-law Charles and Susan Arnold, and a very large and loving extended family including Don Rebar, Nephew; Dina Parry, Niece;  Al Parry Jr., Cousin; Kim Parry, Cousin; Althea Michelle Bell, Cousin; Denise Walters, Cousin; Lynn Hoesch, Cousin; Lynn Karp, Cousin; Robert Vinnacombe, Cousin; AnnMarie McManus, Cousin; Jim Nash, Cousin; Tom Nash, Cousin; Bill Boyd, Cousin; Wanda Ruark, Cousin; Kelly Oberender, Cousin; Carrie Ksau, Niece;  Donnie Parry, Nephew; Kyra Rush, Cousin; Robyn Hamm, Cousin; Missy Andrade, Cousin; Christy Kelly, Cousin.

Services are private under the direction of the Bronson and Guthlein Funeral Home of Milltown, NJ.
