Shekhar Shah

Shekhar Shah lived with his family in Old Bridge. He passed away at the young age of 27 on Saturday March 28, 2020.

Shekhar was a highly intelligent individual. He pursued all activities with great passion. Whether it was playing soccer, or completing his degree in chemical engineering at the University of Maryland. His friends and family will remember him as exceptionally brave, selfless, loving, and sympathetic. To his best, he put others before himself.  He saw only the good in everybody.  However, his debilitating mental illness was a huge weight that challenged him from moving forward. We hope he is now in a better place, and free of the suffering of his mental illness. 

Surviving Shekhar is his Father Nirav Shah, Mother, Sunita Shah his sister Sneha Shah, and extended family. 

May God bless him and we pray his soul has a smooth transition to his next journey.  Rest in peace Shekhar.
