Shawn Cavanaugh

Shawn Cavanaugh of Monroe, NJ passed away peacefully on October 6, 2021 at Raritan Bay Medical Center - Old Bridge, NJ.  He was 65 years old.  Born in New Brunswick, NJ, Shawn was a resident of Milltown, NJ for 18 years and has been a lifetime resident of Middlesex County.  He proudly served his country as a member of the US Navy.  Shawn was a union electrician with IBEW Local 456.  He was very active in his Rossmoor community.

Predeceased by his parents Delbert and Alice Cavanaugh and brother Patrick Cavanaugh, Shawn is survived by his loving sister Melanie Shearer and nieces and nephews Myles Cavanaugh of Stockton, NJ; Hanna Cavanaugh of New Hope, PA; Brett Cavanaugh of Frenchtown, NJ; Morgan Walsh of Runnemede, NJ; and Katie Shearer of Tampa, FL. 

Friends will be received Sunday 4:00pm - 8:00pm at the Bronson and Guthlein Funeral Home of Milltown, NJ.  Final disposition is private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
