Philip Beans Obituary

On Wednesday October 12, 2022, Phil Beans, 47, opted for early retirement and left the constraints of his ailing, mortal flesh to spend eternity with his Savior, Jesus Christ.
A shy and [mostly] quiet man, Phil was born & raised in South River, graduating SRHS Class of ‘92. Upon graduation Phil followed in his father’s footsteps and entered the world of printing. Employed at Michael Graphics, New Brunswick Phil was a pressman for 10 years before becoming supervisor of bindery in 2002.
After 24 years Phil finally escaped, er, left his position at MG and put his amazing artistic abilities to good use. Phil worked as a cake decorator, creating elaborate designs, in the bakeries of East Brunswick Shop Rite and more recently Shop Rite of Montgomery.

Phil was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in South River where he sang & served at various points over the past 23 years.
Phil excelled in many things. He was a top notch cook, baker, and cake decorator. He could draw, sing, and play the piano by ear, even composing some of his own music. Phil enjoyed classical music, opera, and the old great Hymns of the Faith. Phil also enjoyed traveling and his most noted and beloved trip was to Israel, the Holy Land, in 2000.

Phil has been reunited with his parents Rick & Donna June Beans, who predeceased him in 2005 and 2006, respectively.
He leaves behind his five loud-mouthed, loving sisters June Lytle (Jim) of South River; Sharon Lane (Tommy) of South River; April Dynarski (Rev. James) of South River; Donna May Beans of Milltown; and Susanna McCartney (Roy) of Princeton.
He also leaves behind the nephews & nieces he greatly loved and adored: Scott Beans, Seth & Gracie Lane, Anya Dynarski, and Abigail Rose McCartney…and his favorite dog, Budgie Dynarski.
