Jane A. Osman (nee Yost) of Milltown, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, after a short illness. Born in Shamokin, PA, she and her husband moved to Milltown in 1955. Mrs. Osman was preceded in death by her husband of 50years, Raymond W. Osman Jr; and her parents Albert and Elvera Yost.
She is survived by her daughter, Janet Rae Finch and son-in-law, Ian R. Finch of Kendall Park, son, William A. Osman of North Brunswick and his partner, John Wind, grandsons, Ryan and Kevin Finch of Kendall Park, sister, Elvera Bergdolt of Gaithersburg, MD, sister-in-law, Nancy Boughner and her husband, Eugene, of Coal Township, PA, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was a graduate of Shamokin High School class of 1951, and was a member of St. Paul’s Church in Milltown, where she taught Sunday school and Bible school, was a member of the Women’s GUILD, volunteered at Elijah’s Promise Soup Kitchen, and enjoyed socializing with her friends at church luncheons for senior members.
She took pleasure in spending time with her family, especially her two grandsons. She was a faithful attendee of family and high school reunions. She appreciated keeping up with family and friends via social media and watching St. Paul’s online church services on her tablet.
Friends will be received Friday 4:00-7:00pm and Saturday9:00-10:00 am at the Bronson and Guthlein Funeral Home Milltown. The funeral service will be celebrated Saturday, 10:30 am at St. Paul’s Church, Milltown followed by interment at Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick, NJ.
