Irene A. (Pasquel) Carroll

Irene A. Carroll of North Brunswick, NJ passed away peacefully at home on Monday, January 10, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.  She was 91 years old.  Irene was a long-time employee of Rutgers University before her retirement in 1993.  She loved to travel and cherished time spent with her large, loving family. Predeceased by her daughter Sharon Zaabadick, son Todd Michael Carroll, grandson Charles C. Gosner, nine siblings, and son-in-law David Ricardo; Irene is survived by her children: daughter Donna Ricardo of North Brunswick, daughter and son-in-law Nancy and Charles Gosner of North Brunswick, daughter Cynthia Carroll of North Brunswick, son and daughter-in-law Paul and Kyong Carroll of North Brunswick, daughter and son-in-law Pamela and Keith Bratek of Hampton, NJ, daughter Billie-Jo of North Brunswick; adored sons-in-law Charles Zaabadick of Monmouth Junction, NJ, and Judd Tierney of Dayton, NJ; eighteen grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson; and sister Eleanor of North Carolina.

Friends will be received Monday 4:00pm – 8:00pm at the Bronson and Guthlein Funeral Home of Milltown, NJ.  The funeral service will be celebrated Tuesday, 10:00am at the funeral home followed by burial at Holy Cross Burial Park, Jamesburg, NJ.
