Edward James Kane of Jersey City, NJ passed away on May 4, 2021. He was 78 years old. Eddie was a longtime employee of the Jersey City Housing Authority. Predeceased by his beloved wife Alice (née Johnson), daughter Tracey, and parents James and Marian (née Layhee); Eddie is survived by his loving daughter Kelly Williams, brother Michael J. Kane and his wife Diane, sister Sharie Kane-Veith and her husband William; three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two nephews, one niece, one great-nephew, two great-nieces, one godchild, and many friends.
