Edith Helen Donato

Edith Helen Donato of Monroe Twp., NJ passed away peacefully on May 19, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was 56 years old.  Born in South Amboy, NJ, she was a resident of North Brunswick for over 20 years before settling in Monroe Twp.  Edith was an East Brunswick Vo-Tech Culinary Program graduate. She was an Avon Representative and Home News Distributor for many years.  Always creative, she was a skilled crafter.  Edith was kind and patient, never forgot the birthdays and other important events of her loved ones, and spent many hours with her beloved nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her father Santo Donato and nephew Joey Perdun, Edith is survived by her loving mother Carol Donato (née Smith), brother Dean and his wife Debbi, brother Ross, brother Perry and his wife Linda, sister Jan, and brother George; ten nieces and nephews; five great-nieces and nephews; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Family and friends will be received on Saturday 4-7pm at the Bronson and Guthlein Funeral Home of Milltown, NJ.  The funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday at 7pm at the funeral home.  The interment will take place on Sunday at 10am at Oaklawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Monmouth Junction, NJ.  Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Epilepsy Association.
