Barbara Brown Obituary

Barbara S. Brown 82, of Toms River, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 2, 2021.  Barbara will be remembered for her love for her family and friends, her passion for the Kansas City Chiefs, and Nascar which she enjoyed watching with her children.  She was a proud girl from Brooklyn, NY as she liked to tell everyone. Barbara was a community volunteer, a Eucharistic Minister, and a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Lavallette, NJ. In her younger years she was a member of the Civil Air Patrol.

Barbara is predeceased by her parents Robert and Catherine (Heyser) Fisher, her husband George, and her friend and companion of many years James Grogan. Barbara is survived by her two sons Robert Meyer and his wife Lori, and Patrick Brown and his partner Lisa.

Barbara’s Family will receive friends to pay their respects on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 7-9 PM at Bronson-Guthlein Funeral Home, 152 North Main St. Milltown, NJ. A Funeral Service of Lutheran Faith will be held at 8:30 at the Funeral Home the same evening.  Barbara will be laid to rest on Thursday, October 7, 11am at Fair View Cemetery, 456 Rt 35, Middletown/RedBank, NJ.

A Celebration of Barbara’s Life will be held at a later date at Faith Lutheran Church in Lavallette, NJ.
