Au Shui Lin

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved matriarch, AU SHUI LIN, on January 6, 2021.  She passed peacefully at home surrounded by family. 

Born in China during a period of wartime and famine, she was adopted by a loving woman who cherished her as her own.  She met and married her husband in 1940 and was widowed too early, leaving her to raise 5 young children on her own.  She was a fighter and had great strength to overcome many hardships.

AU SHUI LIN was preceded in death by her husband, CHIN YING YUEN, 1951.  She is survived by all 5 children, daughter QIAN WAI KWAN and her husband HO WING JIN, son QIAN RU JING and his wife QIAN SHAO MEI (preceded in death, 2020), daughter CHIN WAI HAN and her husband HALL HO DO, son CHIN YU TSAAN and his wife CHIN SIU MUI, and son CHIN YUE HIM and his wife CHIN SAU KING, 12 grandchildren and their spouses and 12 great-grandchildren.

AU SHUI LIN lived a long and celebrated life.  She loved beautiful things and being surrounded by her large family.  Shopping at the mall with her granddaughters was a favorite pastime.  She was kind, generous, lovingly affectionate and warm.  We are blessed for having her present for countless weddings, births, birthdays and celebrations.  She was and always will be a pillar of support for our family and will be missed dearly.

我們的慈愛的母親（祖母、曾祖母）歐氏瑞蓮女士（錢應源之愛妻）已於二0二一年一月六日清晨在家人陪伴下安祥仙逝，圓滿了其102年的人生旅程。

母親生於民國戰亂年代，所幸被一位愛心女士收養、視如己出，度過了幸福的童年。她於1940年與父親結婚，夫妻恩愛，家庭事業美滿，幸福地養育著五名兒女。惜好景不常，父親於1951年不幸離世，過早地離開了我們， 留下了年輕的母親獨力撫養年幼的我們。

我們的母親並沒有因爲父親突如其來的離世，要獨力面對照顧和撫養我們五名年幼的兒女而氣餒， 她堅强地選擇了獨自撫養我們成人。 我們感恩能在她細心的照顧、耐心的教導與全心的支持下順利成長、成家、立業。母親歷經諸多人生考驗，仍然能夠給與我們無限的包容和體諒，更讓我們體會到母親的辛苦、不凡和無私的大愛！ 感恩她慈愛，能讓我們家族得到幸福的延續！

母親晚年過著長壽而享樂的生活，她注重妝容，喜歡所有美麗的事物，被大家庭有愛地包圍著。與孫女們一起去商場購物是她最喜歡的生活消遣方式。她善良，慷慨，大愛！作爲後輩的我們感到很幸運！有她生前出現在我們的婚禮、生日、出生等家庭慶祝活動是她對我們無限的祝福。她是曾經，也將會是永遠支持我們家族的支柱，我們會深深懷念她！

我們相信母親一生無私的奉獻，已累積了足夠的福報，上天一定會引領她到極樂世界，和父親團聚。

請與我們一起追思這位平凡而偉大的母親，讓她帶著我們的祝福到另一個世界！
