Alexsandra (Jefimowicz) Applegate

Alexsandra “Alice” Applegate, 64, of East Brunswick, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at a care facility in South Amboy, NJ.  Raised in East Brunswick, Alice was the youngest of 4 children.  

She is predeceased by her parents Emilia & Leonid Jefimowicz & 2 siblings Nina Albanese & Leon Jefimowicz.  She is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, Roland “Duane” Applegate, sister Helena Lanzi, her children; son Steven and his wife Ivana of Thurmont, daughter Julia of Woodbridge, son Joseph of Monroe, and many loving grandchildren: Eric, Nicholas, Melanie, Jacob, and Nathaniel.

Alice had a selfless passion for donating her heart to help others in need through donations and support. She was an avid antique collector, crafter and activities director who loved to bring joy to others. She’s been a loyal member of Georges Road Baptist church in North Brunswick for many decades and has always spread Gods love through herself. Alice will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.      “Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day. Family and friends will be received Tuesday, April 5, 2022,  3:00pm – 5:00pm and 7:00pm – 9:00pm at the Bronson and Guthlein Funeral Home of Milltown, NJ.  The funeral service will be private and celebrated at Georges Road Baptist Church.
