Robert J. Murphy

Robert J. Murphy of Milltown, NJ passed away unexpectedly February 3, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ.  He was 58 years old.  Born in New Brunswick and raised in South Brunswick, he was a Milltown resident for over 30 years.  He was a music and MOPAR enthusiast and an outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting.  The highlight of Robert's year was Milltown's Fourth of July celebration and he enjoyed it every year to the fullest.  Above all, he was a loving father and loyal friend.  Robert is survived by his wife Danette Murphy; four children: Michael, Ashley, Jimmy, and Michelle; mother Judi Murphy; sister Katie Murphy; and many loving cousins.  Robert's family will welcome friends Wednesday 4-8pm at the Bronson and Guthlein Funeral Home of Milltown.  Funeral service Wednesday at 7:30pm.  Final disposition is private.
