Richard DaSilva

Richard G. DaSilva left this earth on May 22, 2019 at the age of 39. He was born on February 21, 1980 in Elizabeth, NJ and raised in South River, NJ. He graduated from South River Highschool. Richard worked as a Supervisor for G4S Security and had worked in security for 17 years. Richard was known to have a contagious laugh and a genuine heart by all who knew him. He was always ready to lend a helping hand. He loved baseball and football and spending time with family and friends.He will forever be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Victor DaSilva. He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife Irina DaSilva, he was a loving father to Isaac and step father to Ian; Mother, Rosa DaSilva and his sisters Andrea Ortega and Victoria DaSilva; Niece and nephew Gabriela Araujo and Michael Araujo. 

In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests donations be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) towards the local New Jersey chapter.
