Patricia R. (Kunsevich) Filkohazi

Patricia “ Pita “ Filkohazi of Monroe Township N.J. passed away February 20, 2018 at St. Peters Hospital, New Brunswick N.J. surrounded by her loving family. She was 77 years old.

Born in New Brunswick N.J. on January 15, 1941, Patricia was a longtime resident of Milltown and Forked River N.J. before moving to Monroe Township in 2016. She was a dedicated mother and wife who enjoyed gardening, cooking and shopping. She is also remembered for her beautifully decorated homes and her stunning dresses and jewelry. 

Predeceased by her parents, William and Rose (Solazzo) Kunsevich and her son Liggett Filkohazi.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 59 years Andrew R.  Filkohazi who adored her, a true love story. Her son and daughter in law, Andrew IV and Kelly of Hamilton, Daughter and son in law  Christina and Steven Astone of Monroe Township, Daughter and son in law Cynthia and Joseph Daily and  daughter Barbara Filkohazi and Doug Cole all of Forked River. Also survived by her siblings, Rose Riziti, Barbara Kunsevich  LaGrace and William Kunsevich

Grandchildren Andrea, Claudia. Danielle, Chelsea, Alexandra, Steven, Hannah, Kyle, Joey and Marissa. Great grandchildren Ethan, Kendal and 1 expected in July. And many nieces and nephews. 

Patricia’s family will welcome friends for a memorial service Sunday March 4, 3.00 pm. at Abundant Life Christian Center 2245 Route 130 Dayton N.J. 08810.
