Matthew T. Behan

Matthew Timothy Behan of Milltown, NJ passed away unexpectedly November 7, 2019. He was 32 years old. Born and raised in Milltown, Matthew was most recently a resident of Pickerington, OH. He was a devout Christian, attended church faithfully, and shared his faith daily and in particular on a mission trip to Nicaragua. Matthew loved cooking, going to church, and spending time with his beloved family. He had a huge heart, contagious smile, lit up any room that he walked into, and was the life of the party. He was a terrible singer, an avid pork roll eater, and loved all things sweet. Matthew was a loving father and had endless love for his family and friends. Matthew is survived by his beloved son Jamison Michael, loving mother and father John and Eileen Behan; brothers John, Christopher, and Kevin Behan, sister Mary Behan; nephews Jon, Jaxson, and Logan and niece Belle; Godparents Kathleen and the late James D’Heron; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Family and friends will be received Friday 4-8pm at the Bronson and Guthlein Funeral Home of Milltown. The funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday 10am at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church. Final disposition is private.
