Margaret Anna Landthaler

Margaret Anna Landthaler (née Rogers) of Westfield, NJ passed away March 18, 2018 surrounded by her loving family at Overlook Hospital, Summit, NJ.  She was 89 years old.  Born on March 23, 1928 and raised in NYC, she married and moved to Milltown, NJ in 1951, where she remained until relocating to Westfield in 2009.  Margaret was employed by Otis Elevator Co., NYC until 1950, by Personal Products of Milltown, and then in the Rutgers accounting department until her retirement.  She was a faithful, longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, Milltown.  Margaret was very proud of her Irish heritage.  Predeceased by her beloved husband of 46 years Leroy Edward Landthaler in 1998 and brothers: Thomas, William, and Joseph, Margaret is survived by her loving daughter Grace Landthaler Cetlin and her husband Rich, grandchildren Daniel and Matthew, sister Grace Leahy, brother Francis Rogers, and many loving nieces and nephews.  Margaret’s family will welcome friends Thursday 4-8pm at the Bronson & Guthlein Funeral Home of Milltown.  The funeral mass will be celebrated Friday, 10am at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church followed by interment at St. Peters Cemetery, New Brunswick.
