Louise Hipko Obituary

Louise J Hipko, Age 81, passed away suddenly on July 23, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.

Born in East Brunswick, Louise was a longtime resident of Milltown.  A homemaker, she was a former employee of Johnson and Johnson, and a lifetime member of St. Paul’s Church in Milltown. She enjoyed bingo and trips to the casino. She loved spending time with her loving family with frequent trips to Maine and the Jersey shore, as well as hosting large family gatherings and instilling all the traditions her children and grandchildren will carry on. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and loved completing jigsaw puzzles with her children and grandchildren. Grandmas’ house was always the center of family activity. The love she showed to all those around her will never be forgotten.

Louise was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Yolanda Schickner and her daughter Donna.  She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Pat Hipko, 3 sons, Marty and his wife Linda, Brian and his wife  Noelle, Gary and his wife Jill, and 2 daughters LuAnn Bacchetti and her husband Quinto, and Tracy Rucinski and her husband Chuck, along with 13 grandchildren, Kevin and his wife Catherine, Kimberly and Kelly Hipko, Sarah and her fiancée Bill Kruchinsky and Hannah Hipko, Jay and Jenna Hipko, Jake, Brad and Amy Bacchetti and Diana, Cynthia and Christopher Rucinski, and 1 great grandchild Sophia Kruchinsky.  Louise is also survived by her loving sister, Sylvia Adochio from Milltown, and her brother and sister-in-law Albert and Carol Schickner from Kingston, PA.

The family will receive visitors at Bronson and Guthlein Funeral Home in Milltown from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM on Friday July 27, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday July 28, 2018 at St. Paul’s Church in Milltown. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery, New Brunswick. The family requests donations be made to Milltown Rescue Squad or St Paul’s Church in lieu of flowers.
