John W. Carlin

John W Carlin born in Brooklyn,New York on October 26 1954 passed away on Saturday September 22nd. His wife Debi Carlin (Nee) Romer was at his bedside. John was a resident of Milltown, NJ and communicant of Our Lady Of Lourdes Church in Milltown. John was employed by Con Edison in Brooklyn NY  for 33 years. John belonged to the Knights of Columbus and fourth degree in NY. He loved his NY teams the Yankees and the Giants,vacations with his wife and grandsons,barbecues with friends and family and his four dogs. His favorite vacation spot was Lake George,NY. He is survived by his wife Debi Carlin,Children: Russell Romer, Heather Henry,William and Ryan O'Connor, Grandchildren Shawn and Colin Henry. Sister-In Laws Jannette Martinez and Pat Smith, Brother-In Law Robert Romer, many cousins,neices and nephews.  He is predeceased by his parents John and Geraldine Carlin, Brother-In Law Gary Romer. He is also survived by his long time friend Frank Strauch. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.  Friends and family will be received Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Bronson and Guthlein Funeral Home of Milltown.  The funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday 9:30am at Our Lady of Lourdes Church with interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island.
