Jerome (Jerry) Koehler of East Brunswick passed away peacefully on December 23, 2019 at home. He was 83 years old. Born in Middletown, NY, Jerome honorably served his country as a member of the US Airforce 9th Squadron Strategic Air Command. Jerome has resided in East Brunswick for the last 56years and he was a parishioner of St. Bartholomew’s RC Church. After 15 years as controller at New Jersey Motor Truck Association, Jerome left to work at his carpentry business full-time. He enjoyed theater in NY City and table games at the casinos.
Predeceased by his sister Delores Graham, Jerome is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years Priscilla (O’Brien) Koehler, his daughter Deborah Oliva of Lebanon PA, daughter and son-in-law Diane and Scott Raubenstine of Hebron MD, son Mark Koehler and partner Danielle Reilly of Milltown, and her daughters Nicole and Shannon Reilly, grandsons Jonathan and Adrienne Oliva of Etters PA, and Christian Raubenstine and granddaughters Nicole and Kolby Harman of Breinigsville PA,and Madalynn Koehler, 3 great grandsons, and several loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation in his name be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
A celebration of life service at St Bartholomew’s RC Church will be planned after the holidays.
