Jason Forino Obituary

Jason Marc Forino of South River, NJ passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at his residence. He was 39 years old. Born September 27, 1980 in New York, NY, Jason moved to South River where he played football for the Rams and graduated High School in 1999. He left briefly but came back to raise his son in South River following in his footsteps.  Jason worked as a carpenter among many other trades. He was a member of St. Steven’s Catholic Church. Jason had many passions in life, but the most important thing to him was being a father, as he loved his 11 year old son, Stephen dearly. He enjoyed sports specifically the Jets, Giants, Yankees and Rangers.  He proudly passed this passion along to Stephen as well.

Jason is survived by his wife, Natalia Vargas; a son, Stephen Jason Forino; a step-daughter, Samantha Vargas; his mother and step-father Teresa and Mauricio Cervantes; his father, Stephen Forino; and his twin sisters; Alexis Cervantes and Raquel Cervantes.  He is also survived by paternal grandparents; Pasquale and Elsie Forino; maternal grandmother; Maria Valdez; and many loving aunts and uncles.

The family will receive friends Friday, January 10, 2020 from 4-6 PM at Bronson & Guthlein Funeral Home of Milltown, NJ. A service will be held at the funeral home.
