Irene Kent Obituary

Irene E. Kent of East Brunswick, NJ passed away peacefully on January 15, 2020 at Chelsea at East Brunswick. She was 90 years old. Born in New Brunswick, Irene was a resident of East Brunswick for over 60 years. She was dedicated to her students as a teacher in the New Brunswick School System for 40 years. Irene was a very active member of the Bayard Street Presbyterian Church, taught Sunday school, and was a member of the church’s “Noodle Ladies”. She was a skilled baker and an avid traveler. Irene is survived by her beloved husband Alexander Kent and son and daughter-in-law Alec and Donna Kent. Funeral services are private under the direction of the Bronson and Guthlein Funeral Home of Milltown, NJ.
