Charles A. Miller, V

Charles Augustus Miller, V of Milltown, NJ was born October 3, 1989 and departed this earth well before his time on December 1, 2017.  Charlie was employed by International Paper of Milltown as an assistant machine operator.  He was a member of Boy Scout Troop 33 of Milltown and earned the rank of Eagle Scout in October 2005.  He was also a member of the US Naval Sea Cadets Corp, NWS Earle Division and achieved the rank of Petty Officer 1st Class and Captain of the Color Guard.  Charlie was a graduate of Middlesex Co. Community College and earned a BS in Criminal Justice with honors from Caldwell University.  Charlie enjoyed the outdoors, being with friends, and was an avid Disney fan.  He loved his pets; his labs Liberty and Cedar, bearded dragon Repter, and hamster Gus as if they were his own children.  He took pride in helping others and volunteering for community service events. Predeceased by his grandfather Charles Schork, Charlie is survived by his beloved parents Charles A. and Deborah A. Miller of Milltown;  maternal grandmother Frances Schork and Uncle John Schork of Toms River, NJ; Aunt Carol Szurka of FL; paternal grandmother Lillian Miller and Uncle William Miller of North Brunswick, NJ; paternal grandfather Charles A. Miller and wife Barbara Daume of FL; and loving girlfriend Katherine Rocha, her mother Marta Rocha, brother DJ Rocha, and family of South River, Spotswood, and Jackson, NJ.  He is survived by many loving family and friends.  The family will welcome friends Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 at the Bronson & Guthlein Funeral Home of Milltown.  Funeral service, Thursday 10am at the funeral home followed by interment at Franklin Memorial Park.
