Barbara Roccosalvo

Barbara (nee Gianchetti) Roccosalvo, 68, of Monroe Twp., NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 5th , surrounded by her beloved husband of 46 years and her loving family.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY to the late Samuel and Catherine (Russo) Gianchetti, she lived most of her life in Brooklyn, she also lived in Staten Island, NY, South Brunswick, NJ, Franklin, Mass., before moving back to New Jersey where she lived in Marlboro to Monroe, Twp. 9 years ago.  She worked as an X-Ray and mammography technician providing her patients with so much love and care.  

Although Barbara was a child of the 1960’s, she really enjoyed the music of the 1950’s.  Songs that told a story about love, tenderness and redemption touched her heart.  She was most proud of her family and always enjoyed having family and friends over for dinner. 
Beloved wife of 46 years to Joseph Roccosalvo, Barbara is also survived by her 3 sons, Joseph Roccosalvo and his wife Megan, Michael Roccosalvo and his wife Janine, Nicholas Roccosalvo and his wife Kim; 3 grandchildren, Doreen, Joseph and Patrick; her brother Mark Gianchetti and his wife Brenda, her sister Kathy Gabriele and her husband Vincent;  Cherished nieces and nephews, Robert, Andrew, Michelle and Samantha; Dear cousins and many, many loving friends.  She had a sweet and compassionate soul and always found what was good in everyone she met.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

Calling Hours: Family and friends will be received on Tuesday evening from 4-8pm at the Bronson and Guthlein Funeral Home in Milltown. A funeral service will be offered on Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.  Barbara’s final resting place will take place at Elmwood Cemetery on Georges Road in North Brunswick, NJ.
